Is TenantBird really free?

Yes. Listings, applications, references, e-sign leases, the document vault, and the property hub are free, not a trial. You only pay when you run a Verified Report on an applicant.

Do applicants pay anything?

No. The landlord covers the screening fee, so applicants are never charged. The check is run through our screening partner with the applicant's consent, and is intended to be a soft inquiry that does not affect their credit score.

What's the difference between the two reports?

The Standard Report is the full application, documents, and landlord references. The Verified Report adds a credit check, ID verification, income verification, the Bird Score, and AI insights.

Are there limits on the free platform?
